The office is buzzing with activity: Emily’s being interviewed left, right and centre, Lauren’s putting plans in place for our UK cinema release, Molly’s deep in conversation with our outreach partners and Laura’s preparing for our World Premiere at Sheffield Doc/Fest.
As we gear up for our premiere and nationwide cinema release, we’re looking for helping hands to get stuck in!
Our aim is for as many people as possible to see the film, but we can’t do it alone. We’re looking for some all round organised super helpful distribution assistants to help us get this film out there. Tasks will include, but are not limited to: helping to organise cinema screenings, liaising with grassroots groups to help them organise their own screenings, helping to coordinate our music festival screenings, office management, fielding enquiries, copy writing, website updates, press and publicity.
Because we’re a grassroots project, we can only offer expenses. But with the film’s release on the horizon, this is a really busy and exciting time to get involved, with lots of opportunity to sink your teeth into a project that’s already been kicking up quite a storm (check out what Empire Magazine had to say here).
We’re looking for people to start asap. You’ll be working out of our East London offices.
Distribution assistant :: Start: asap :: expenses only :: period: 1-3 months
Please send your CV along with a brief description of why you’re right for the role to Laura at [email protected]
If you’d love to get involved but are not based in London or don’t have very much time, then there’s still plenty you can do to help us fill those cinemas. Get in touch!
