We’re downright over the moon for our friends over at Grow Heathrow who have won the right to another appeal against the eviction order brought by the owners of the once-disused land that is now a beloved community garden and hub.
This unstoppable bunch took over the land in Sipson in March 2010 and have since transformed it into a haven for growing and communal sharing that has become invaluable to visitors and locals alike.
The project began in response to threats of a 3rd runway at Heathrow and sits directly in the path of where said runway would have been built.
