Last week Just Do It was screened at OccupyLSX and we felt profoundly honoured to show the film in the shadow of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, surrounded by tents marking the autonomous space. We are so thrilled to see so many people around the world stepping up and camping out, putting their bodies in the way in order to build a better world. We here at Just Do It HQ in London salute you, and in an act of solidarity we make you this special offer.
JUST DO IT AT THE OCCUPATIONS
Having had requests from occupations from Boston to Sao Paolo, we’re throwing the floor open for screenings at all occupations. The film hasn’t yet been released outside of the UK – we’re still hatching our plans for world domination and cutting deals with distributors – but we’ve decided to throw caution to the wind. Just Do It is all about non-hierarchical organisation, about working without leaders, re-imagining a life beyond capitalism and doing what you think is right – something the occupations seem to have pretty well pinned down!
So this letter is to invite all occupations across the globe to screen the film, and we’re going to waive the screening fees. All you need to do is let us know that you’d like to show it. Pass it on!

Just Do It – a tale of modern-day outlaws is the recently released quick-witted documentary going behind the scenes of the UK direct action movement. Following groups Plane Stupid and Climate Camp over the course of a year, the film weaves its way through the plotting and planning that goes into all of their intrepid adventures.

Just Do It has been made entirely independently and relied largely on crowd funding and the support of over 100 volunteers. But even on a shoe-string budget, the film sold out in cinemas across the UK this Summer and was screened at 80 universities simultaneously. The DVD has just been released and is now flying off the shelves as if there’s no tomorrow! And never fear, we’re as dedicated as ever to our Creative Commons release. Plans are currently in the pipeline, and just as soon as our American release is done and dusted, we’ll be making the film free to watch, and free to share.
