Just Do It lifts the lid on climate activism and the daring troublemakers who have crossed the line to become modern-day outlaws. Documented over a year, Emily James' film follows these activists as they blockade factories, attack coal power stations and glue themselves to the trading floors of international banks despite the very real threat of arrest.

JDI on tour :: the Scotland diaries :: day four – Glasgow

Just Do It screened at the Glasgow Film Theatre last night, ending our Scottish tour with a flourish!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to see the film up on GFT’s beautiful big screen at our editor James’s favourite cinema “in the world”. That’s right.

Enormous thanks must also go to our Q&A host Mark Langdon of Glasgow Media Access Centre and Luci Ransome of Transition Scotland and of course to our fabulous editor/narrator James and director Emily who, despite a sudden virus, made it to the cinema to deliver a great Q&A – phewf!

And of course, thanks must also go to our fantastic audience for their questions:

And so ends our Scottish tour. Tonight is your last chance to catch the film at the Edinburgh Filmhouse, 6pm.

Onwards! Next stop: York TONIGHT!
