Just Do It lifts the lid on climate activism and the daring troublemakers who have crossed the line to become modern-day outlaws. Documented over a year, Emily James' film follows these activists as they blockade factories, attack coal power stations and glue themselves to the trading floors of international banks despite the very real threat of arrest.

"A smart, funny, adrenalised portrait of 21st century activism" Danny Leigh - The Guardian

This is our Teaser, it isn’t a lock cut, but gives you a sense of the defiant nature of the characters and material.

Meet Marina – Marina Pepper is the main character in the film….

Meet Sophie – Sophie features a lot in the beginning and end of the film, she is very open on camera and also very funny.

Meet Elly – Again Elly appears throughout the film and is the youngest of the three main characters. She goes on a very exciting journey, from novice to pro, within the year Emily followed her.

Below are films that were made following the actions/events. They were mainly cut by other editors, so the style of the cut doesn’t reflect the direction Emily and I wish to take the whole film. But they can give you a sense of the material and actions we have.

Climate Camp G20 – The climate camp set up in the heart of the city of london

Climate Rush – Bike Rush

Plane Stupid – City Airport – plane stupid lock around a private jet

Vestas Fish and Chips – Marina and Co deliver Fish and Chips to the factory workers of Vesta’s, who are occupying their factory

Climate Camp – RBS action

The Great Climate Swoop – Climate Camp, Plane Stupid and Rising Tide try to shut down a power station
