Big Coal is on the run!
Successful campaigns have stopped the expansion of coal fired power plant across the United States. Now industry wants to export coal from Wyoming and Montana’s Powder River Basin to Asian markets to pollute and poison communities there and as well as the climate itself.
Rising Tide North America is taking the coal exports struggle to the heart of the problem, convening West By Northwest, a No Coal Exports Action Camp, in the heart of Wyoming’s coal fields from August 2-10.
